RSL continues to be committed to producing new high performance products that are kinder to the environment. In recent months they have reformulated more key products to create the ‘VF’ range, which is has the lowest ever volatile organic compound (VOC) content. It includes:
Resuseal VF
This is a two-pack water-based epoxy resin floor coating with very low VOC content providing excellent adhesion to concrete, wood and other surfaces to give attractive, hard wearing dust-free finishes.
Resucoat VF
A two-pack solvent-free high build epoxy floor coating with very low VOC content, very low odour, producing a seamless, hard-wearing hygienic floor finish.
Resuflor VF
A self-smoothing epoxy resin seamless floor finish with very low

VOC content, designed to provide a flat hard wearing gloss finish.
With an ever-expanding water-based solvent-free range of resin finishes, RSL gives customers more choice and wherever possible encourages a solvent-free solution, and in so doing dramatically reduce the emission of VOCs throughout the application process.
RSL flooring systems are also long-lasting – often in situ for over 10 years without the need for renewal. So there is no cost or energy involved in uplifting or removing other floors, manufacturing replacement floors and installation.
When a resin floor does need refurbishment you can simply reapply the resin over the existing surface, again reducing waste and energy costs.
Sustainability award
Ivy Wroe has recently won the prestigious SME Dahrendorf Responsible Capitalism Award for her role in developing the company’s sustainable product range. The awards are instituted by FIRST – the multidisciplinary International Affairs organisation – and honour international business leaders who have excelled in both commercial success and social responsibility. Ivy was presented with her award by the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Sajid Javid at a special ceremony held at Lancaster House in London.
