Flooring Solutions L-3 Link Simulation & Training UK

RSL has supplied flooring to L-3 Link Simulation & Training UK Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex. The company has installed specialist flooring in the organisation’s eight workshop bays and main thoroughfare - an area of 1,800m2.

The brief was to create an outstanding environment befitting the quality of clients visiting the site from around the world, and to reflect the advanced high-tech manufacturing and training environment.

Working in phases to limit disruption to a busy production facility, RSL’s contractor partner organised for the floor to be diamond ground before applying Resucoat HB.

Resucoat HB is a high build coating, easy-to-clean and maintain with an excellent gloss finish. Cast aggregates were added in the workshop bay areas to improve anti-slip and abrasion resistance.

Two bays were finished in poppy red and the other six in flint. In the main thoroughfare the company vision statement was incorporated into the floor to support the high end product showcase experience for customers.

RSL’s Martin Wroe said “This was a very interesting brief which needed a dual purpose flooring solution to meet the needs of a high end

manufacturing site and international showroom - creating a wow factor across both. Resucoat HB is ideally suited to these kind of environments.”

“RSL provided a dual purpose flooring solution to meet the needs of a high end

manufacturing site and international showroom.”
