Cynergi Cleaning And Support Services Invest In Templa CMS

Hertfordshire-based Cynergi have chosen Templa CMS to help improve their services, by tackling their ‘frustrations’ head on.

The company may only be seven years old, but it is incredibly ambitious for growth. Directors John Goodwin and Ian Hotston, had serious misgivings about the bundle of software packages used to support their back office functions. They were using an agency for payroll, Netsuite for accounts and a complex raft of spreadsheets

for tracking subcontractor work, running their client helpdesk and performing financial analysis.

Their frustrations with the company workings included the limited ability to check payroll for accuracy prior to release, resulting in a lot of errors, problems combining payroll data for staff working at multiple locations, and the time wasted and mistakes created by keying data into several systems.

John said: “We felt we couldn’t grow too much bigger without things getting a bit crumbly. We wanted a system that really understands the cleaning industry, an integrated system that would allow us to grow revenue without a corresponding increase in admin costs.

“Initially, we chose CMS because of the advanced payroll features, but

we realised after meeting Templa that they would be able to solve all our issues in one go.”

Cynergi have already identified potential savings; the budget- versus-actual-pay report will give the visibility of potential overspends before pressing the button, which will provide huge cost savings. Plus, there will be a massive reduction in administration time, once the data is centralised in the single CMS Contracts Database.

John added: “We’re confident in driving savings just by budgeting and reporting across a much wider range of cost and revenue streams. All in all, we’re happy to have taken an early decision to invest in software that will help convert revenue growth into solid profit.”

Of The Art Site Disposables UK Group reached another milestone in its ambitious five year growth plan, when it completed its move to the new 150,000ft2

in Meltham, Huddersfield.

Huddersfield Giants rugby star and England International, Eorl Crabtree, kicked off a new era for the company by formally opening the new premises, as Disposables UK are the official home and away shirt sponsors of the popular local team.

The strategic move to larger premises will allow Disposables UK to consolidate its operations and provide a faster turnaround time on producing goods, allowing the company to deliver even better customer service. The move, which cost in the region of £700,000, is part of Disposables UK’s plan to almost double its current £16million turnover to £30million, by 2018.

Commenting on the move, David Burkill, Managing Director of Disposables UK, said: “We are

delighted to finally open the doors to our brand new site, and to celebrate another milestone in our history. Manufacturing is at the heart of our business, and this move has not only allowed us to streamline our processes, but reinvest in our machinery, systems and people.”

The new site has undergone a total refurbishment, with an emphasis on the company’s ethos of sustainability and the environment. The 7,500ft2 modern office facilities include a state of the art reception, training

room, and product display areas. The manufacturing facility has been fully refitted with energy efficient lighting, as well as incorporating the Power Factor Correction, as a source to ensure minimum energy use.

The manufacturing facility incorporates new fully automated production and packaging lines, allowing Disposables UK to manufacture quality products at prices to meet current and future market demands.
