Ready to wipe the fl oor with the competition
Harrison Wipes may have started selling cloths in 1891, but they are preparing to launch a new product range and take on the big industry players, as well as giving Tomorrow’s Cleaning some advice on food hygiene products.
Harrison Wipes has come a long way since its humble beginnings over 120 years ago, and this year alone proves that they do not plan on slowing down any time soon. The wipes specialist located in Romford, Essex, is predominantly a convertor of non-woven wiping cloths, supplying a wide range of industries, many of which are focussed on catering and food processing.
With a range of 10 different colour coded cloths and over 20 products ideal for working in any environment involving food, Harrison Wipes are confi dent that they have a product to meet any wiping requirement within the food industries.

This scheme works hand in hand with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system, that helps food business operators look at how they handle food, and introduces procedures to make sure the food produced is safe to eat. Harrison Wipes supply hygiene cloths in up to fi ve colours to assist in preventing cross contamination, by using a colour-coded system to segregate wiping activities.
The brand, Stronghold, includes cloths ranging from their very popular lightweight all-purpose cloths, right through to the heavier options such as the Hygiene Heavy Duty and SV Super Heavy. Benefi ts and features of the range include apertured options that provide effective food and dirt pick-up, and the quality of their products and services are guaranteed, as they are sure to work in compliance with their BS EN ISO 9001 and BRC accreditations.
This month, a new product will be introduced to the Stronghold range, to further bolster their already comprehensive colour-coded ranges, in the form of a new lighter weight microfi ber cloth. Due to their superior durability when compared to non-woven cloths, microfi bers can provide a cost effective option if looked after and used to their
