The new microfiber is just one of the many developments at Harrison Wipes over the past 12 months. Towards the end of last year, the company changed their name from Saul D. Harrison, to the modernised Harrison Wipes brand you see today. Since the change, the company has not looked back; this year alone a new role has been created, three new machines have been installed to further improve service, and increased formats are now available to customers, as well as a brand new industrial range which will be seen a lot more as its launch in September approaches. It is a very exciting period for everyone involved within the company, and they are looking to share their success with their customers.

Harrison Wipes also supplies colour coded hygiene wipes with anti-bacterial properties, which makes them resistant to the growth of bacteria. Cloths stay fresher for longer, providing an overall better hygienic result than a lot of other cloths. The ranges which feature these antibacterial properties, include the Stronghold (house brand), Heavyweight and Hygiene Heavy Duty Cloths, as well as cloths in the Chicopee™ range.

This up and coming company are able to offer products from their blue chip partners DuPont™ and Chicopee™, a range that includes the world renowned original J Cloth Lavette and the exceptional Lavette Super.

On top of these is the Chicopee™ J Cloth 3000, the fi rst fully compostable and biodegradable non- woven cloth on the market. Passing the relevant compostability tests and carrying the prestigious seedling logo, the J Cloth 3000 provides an option for those consumers with a ‘green’ stance. Ideal for the education sector which is currently very focused on becoming environmentally friendly, the J Cloth 3000 would further enhance any ‘green’ product package.

As the sole UK licensed convertor of DuPont™ Sontara®, Harrison Wipes also offer these unique non-woven cloths. Not an obvious choice for many people within the industry, DuPont™ Sontara® comes with Food Contact Clearance (FCC). This, paired with its excellent strength and ultra-low linting features, makes it a very worthy alternative to other products on the market.
