Electronic Micropipettes Combine Safety and Versatility The Acura®
electro is making electronic pipetting more versatile, simpler and safer than ever. The range includes micro models (0.1 to 1000 µL), macropipettes (0.1 to 10 mL) and multichannel instruments (0.1 to 350 µL).
Intuitive control software avoids any complicated programming steps. One key provides for quick access to Forward - Reverse - Stepper - Dilute - Tactile and Mixing working modes. Simplify gel loading operations, sequential distribution and perform titrations with the micropipette using the Tactile mode.
Working ergonomics and hand comfort lead to outstanding pipetting results. Display information is reversible for right or left side reading. Efficient tip ejection obtained with a patented height adjustable mechanism. NiMH battery pack is exchangeable and/or charged immediately. Charge level is clearly visible on display. Automatic stand-by when pipette remains unused.
Each of the 27 single and multichannel volumetric modules (lower pipette assemblies) is interchangeable on one control unit (upper pipette body). Instrument calibration over two or three points is easily performed right from the keyboard.
Each Acura® electro conforms to CE safety guidelines, to EN ISO 8655 and other international standard requirements.
A two-year warranty is standard. More information online:

Manual Micropipettes Offer Superior Working Comfort
Ergonomics is a key word when performing long pipetting series, such as routine tests and research during this pandemic period. From instrument position in the hand to smoothest activation, every single detail of the Acura® line contributes to superior working comfort and reduction of hand fatigue.
manual pipette
The optimal shape of finger rest maintains the instrument in position while pipetting. Volume setting button allows rapid adjustment, even when wearing gloves. Located on the front instrument side, the display window is always clearly visible during pipetting.
Soft springs and tightness ring with PTFE sleeve reduce frictions and make plunger activation smoother than ever. A large surface ejector button provides for low-pressure activation. In addition to ease of tip ejection, the JustipTM
shaft height
adjustment system allows a wide selection of tips to tightly fit the nozzle. This proved to be essential where laboratories have limited options to select their own pipette tips (i.e. central purchase).
The Acura®
manual pipettes are available as micro-, macro- and multichannel models. Each instrument bears its own serial number and passes strict performance control attested by an individual QC certificate. Combined with Qualitix® pipette tips, the line provides for performance results. Three-year warranty.

New Crystal Blue Repeater Pipette for Reliable Serial Dispensing
The new crystal blue repeater pipette Stepper™ 416 is a compact and reliable instrument intended for serial dispensing from 10 to 5000 µL. Its unique four-finger activation eliminates thumb fatigue, enabling smooth monitoring of each step, whatever the pipetting speed.
Stepper™ offers a great flexibility in use, fitting well in many laboratories performing repeat dispensing tasks such as screening procedures, dividing samples in small portions, or dispensing reagents in vials. And the very fine syringe tip end facilitates distribution in narrow tubes.
Associated with only three Ecostep™ positive displacement syringes, it provides a broad choice of 53 different volumes, and up to 73 aliquots per filling. Ecostep™ syringes are made of PP and PE materials providing for excellent chemical resistance. The syringes are available in regular, non-sterile version, as well as in a sterile, high purity bioproof™ grade version.
There are three interchangeable setting knobs, bearing volumes and corresponding number of aliquots. Volume selection is easy and quick, with a clear reading of the adjustment chosen. The colour codes on both syringes and setting knobs eliminate any risk of wrong use. A graduation on the syringe helps monitoring liquid content. If remaining liquid in the syringe is smaller than the selected aliquot volume, the built-in self-locking mechanism stops distribution to prevent false delivery. Stepper™ contains neither battery nor electronic compound and offers a very long life span.
