Milling and Particle Analysis Solutions at Forum LABO Paris
Fritsch Milling and Sizing recently participated in the prestigious Forum LABO in Paris, which featured over 300 exhibitors and drew 6,000 visitors. The company showcased their new dry dispersion unit of the ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT, along with other new modules for the Laser Particle Sizers ANALYSETTE 22 NeXT, at their newly designed booth. French colleagues Walter De Oliveira, Gladys Da Conceicao and Enora Frappe, as well as the Fritsch partners Cloup and Sodipro also assisted in presenting the new dry dispersion unit and its benefits, such as fast measurement of powdery samples in an accelerated airflow, making it suitable for not too fine, free-flowing materials, which react in water or other liquids.
Additionally, Fritsch’s Knife Mill PULVERISETTE 11 was a highlight at the booth, providing a homogeneous sample in a short time for various materials, regardless of whether the sample is dry, moist, soft, medium- hard, fibrous or oily.
The French Fritsch team also assisted visitors with a wide range of comminution tasks using different comminution principles, including leather for measuring chromium value and biomass valorisation. The company has the ability to recommend the ideal solution for customers due to the diverse range of Fritsch laboratory mills available, each of which operates according to unique comminution principles.
After a successful week, Fritsch looks forward to participating in the next Forum LABO in Lyon in 2024. Customers who missed the opportunity to visit Fritsch’s booth can still schedule a virtual appointment with their application consultants.

Open containers pose fire and health hazards when collecting liquid waste. The large ARNOLD safety funnel from SCAT Europe GmbH offers double protection thanks to the hinged lid with double seal and ball valve, even harmful solvent residues cannot escape. When not in use, the funnel closes with a quick ‘click’.
The ball valve closes automatically after filling if the funnel is accidentally left open. The integrated dirt sieve catches stirrers or coarse dirt. Laboratory bottles can simply be placed on it to drain. The splash guard provides additional protection and work safety, and the strainer and splash guard can be removed for cleaning.
Thanks to its large diameter of 190 mm, even large amounts of liquid can be collected quickly and safely. The safety lance ensures clean drainage inside the container and at the same time serves as a drip edge to protect the container opening from contamination. The dimensionally stable design brings greater stability, durability and prevents deformation.
With different thread sizes, the funnel fits all standard containers. Also available in antistatic plastic – for safe grounding against ignition hazards. By using high-performance plastics (PE-HD, PE-HD-EL), the funnel achieves a very high level of chemical resistance.
The safety funnel is also available for barrels, with level control to avoid overflowing liquids. More information online:
