workmanship they deliver. The shop at the front of the show-

room lends itself to showcasing an eclectic mix of furniture, lighting, clocks and accessories alongside candles, soaps and other items that all make lovely presents. Over the years, Dupère has discovered there are certain things that are con- stantly in demand, like the kitchen ceramics made by Modbury’s local potter, Arwyn Jones and the ever-popular Weaver Green rugs and throws. However, to keep the shop fresh

and interesting, Rebecca is always on the lookout for new, locally pro- duced products. So far this year, she has found an original range of hand- made vases by Frog and Florets, and coming soon, are ROCWORX handcrafted leather aprons and accessories. Both companies are based in Devon. Except for Wednesday and

Saturday, Dupère Design is open from 10am – 5pm. If these times are not convenient you can always ring to arrange an appointment for a time that will suit you better.
