may have enjoyed (or not!); visit our fas- cinating and varied shops, many of them independently owned, often family busi- nesses. They may not have been around since 1219 but some of them have been serving the community for 5 generations! Definitely worth popping in to find out what makes them so special… With an Imaginarium (and if you don’t

know how amazing that is, you definitely need to come along and find out!); display of Girl Guide Uniforms over the past 100 years; glorious costumes galore, high-fly- ing banners and award-winning flowers in abundance, the town will be a riot of colour and sound and at the heart of it all – the Bees! Bees provide the link across 800 years, setting the town along the road to medieval prosperity and remaining vitally important today as our most important pollinators – the perfect symbol for the town’s celebrations. None of us will be around to do it all again in another

800 years so don’t miss out – there is more than enough for a family day out so make sure you are part of this unique event because nowhere knows how to have fun better than Kingsbridge!
