Wow! Said the owl Clifton Park Museum,

25th May to 8th September Curious little explorers are invited to a world of colours, shapes and texture. Based on the book Wow! Said the owl, this interactive exhibition for under 5’s and families is designed to inspire, enlighten and delight their minds. Be ready for a ‘WOW’ or two from your little ones.

Barnsley’s first ever Big Weekend with a jam packed family-friendly entertainment programme. Saturday: Library @ the Lightbox opening and the annual Mayor’s Parade. Sunday: Destination Barnsley Festival, town centre 5k run, Pride Barnsley, the Big Dinosaur Show and activities including a climbing wall and crazy golf.

A collection of beautiful steelwork forget-me-nots have been lovingly crafted by The British Ironwork Centre especially for the 25th Anniversary of the hospice. Commemorate someone dear in a unique way, by making a donation for a beautiful Forever Flower to take home and treasure. All flowers dedicated will go on display at Cannon Hall Farm after which you will be able to take them to display at home. You can plant your Forever Flower in a special place that holds memories for you to be reminded of a loved one.
