Suitcase Stories - Travelling Tales Thursday 25 July
Journey around the world with our well-travelled friend as she regales you with tales of fishermen, fairies, feasts and beasts,
from Yorkshire and beyond. Costumes and props create unique ways to bring the stories to life. An interactive storytelling show designed to unleash the imagination of children from 3 years.

Life in the Meadows Tuesday 30 July
Find out about the bugs and beasties that live in the meadows at Cannon Hall and take a wildflower trail to discover the beautiful meadow wildflowers. In association with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. Meet at the main car park, outside the Pavilion café, at 1.30pm. 1.30pm-3.30pm, free event, donations welcome

As part of this summer's Mythical Creatures theme, we have an exciting series of workshops for you to get creative. Bring along your unwanted ceramics and transform them into a whole new fantastical creature. Only suitable for children over the age of 6 due to materials and equipment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

A story best known across the globe as Cinderella, lands in Ancient Egypt. The familiar tale is transported to the world of the seas; linking nations and hosting secret sea creatures from
both fresh water and salt water Puppetry, shadow theatre and acting bring this comic tale to its modern day outcome, aimed at families and the young at heart of all ages.
