Ahoy me hearties! Set sail for a swashbucklin’ good time at Barnsley Metrodome this summer!
Come and discover Barnsley’s hidden treasure – the island paradise that is Calypso Cove Waterpark. Calypso Cove is home to fantastic flumes, sensational slides and wonderful waves - making it a great day out for the whole family. Race down Splash Ahoy before tackling the fearsome Kraken, Eruption and Terror Torrent, the latter being one of the UK’s fastest indoor water slides. Gentler rides for younger children include Splash Ahoy! and the Sunken Galleon. The bravest of pirates can walk the plank across the famed top diving board before retiring to The Hideout on poolside to refuel with some hearty grub.
Calypso Cove is the perfect location for a splashtastic pool party and this summer you’re invited to two. Each fun pool party features two favourite characters, a poolside DJ, a coloured pool and glitter tattoos.

The magic of Never Neverland is coming to town with special visits from Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and at the Toy Pool Party, there’ll be special appearances from Captain Buzz
and Sheriff Woody - Yee-haw. With lots of fun, games and prize- winning, parents and children alike will be sure to have a terrific time.

Barnacle Bay Young shipmates can splash
around in the interactive toddler zone ‘Barnacle Bay’. This under 8’s splash zone is bursting with brilliant water features, including a yellow submarine, tipping buckets and a mini slide.
Something for Little Fins
Captain Cutlass, Finn & Marina invite you to come and try the brand new ‘Parent and Toddler’ sessions. Little Finns at Barnacle Bay includes up to two hours of splashing water based fun and activities. Meet the Barnacle Bay Characters and there will be a professional photographer on hand to capture the moment. This session is brilliant for parent and toddler water bonding and great for babies to gain water confidence. Little Fins sessions will be running throughout the summer holidays on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am-10am.

Life in the fast lane
After all the splashing, head across the bay to Metrodome Bowling where excitement strikes and the competition begins. The eight-lane ultra-sleek ten pin bowling alley, features innovative disco lights, smoke machines and top of the range themed bowling games; you really will be bowled over with the great entertainment.
