OUT & ABOUT
Food, fun & fabulous gifts
Nestled in a charming courtyard at Aston Springs Farm is an array of independent businesses offering imaginative treats, gifts and new experiences.
Take a leisurely look at what’s on offer and you’re sure to find something distinctly different. If you’re looking for gift inspiration or for the finishing touches that make your house a home, visit Rooster and Moo Gifts. This delightful shop is bursting with wonderful ideas. Discover something for all the family from quality children’s toys to personalised signs, animal inspired cushions or gorgeous scented candles. They even stock pocket money gifts, so whatever your budget there is something for you. Fired Up and Painting is a creative space for pottery painting,
welcoming all the family. If you’re seeking a birthday party, hen party or baby shower with a difference, what could be more unique. You can even just drop in to the studio to release your creativity. New to the studio are up and coming workshops for furniture paint techniques with the highly acclaimed Annie Sloan range of chalk paints and accessories. Look out for all the new workshops on their Facebook page; Fired Up and Painting.
A visit to the site can only be enhanced by popping into the highly rated Aston’s restaurant. In a comfortable farmhouse setting you
can enjoy superb homemade food and hospitality.
If you are looking to hold a private party they have a separate room that can accommodate up to 16 people, perfect for baby showers, christenings, wakes and all other occasions. Aston’s Farm Shop and Deli is fully behind supporting our local independent businesses. The meat they supply is locally farm reared and most of the products they stock come from Yorkshire suppliers. Pop in store to take home some lovely fresh produce, sample one of the Wensleydale cheeses accompanied with delicious Sheffield chutney or piccalilli. The delicious pies and pasties are packed with quality meat and no added preservatives.
If you have a sweet tooth, T’s Afternoon Treats is sure to amaze you. Tracey will make you a bespoke cake for any occasion. Be it a Del Boy van for an Only Fools and Horses fan or a record player for a music lover. She also offers a mobile afternoon tea service, offering savoury delights to accompany sweet treats.
Why not take away the stress and aim to impress?
