Isle of Wight Musicians Against Homelessness
Date: Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September Venue: Strings Bar and Venue, Newport
Musicians Against Homelessness Weekend will be raising funds for The Bus Shelter Isle of Wight.
There will be two days and nights of talented Island performers, including rock, acoustic, electronica, blues, jazz, orchestral and more. £5 entry for each full day.

Isle of Wight Gin Festival
Date: Sunday 16th September Venue: Ryde Castle
The festival celebrates 20 small batch gins, many of which are hand produced in the UK. These include Old Bakery gin distilled by Ian Puddick in his office in North London (an Old Bakery) and Addington Sloe, a beautiful gin hand distilled gin produced by Fiona Mann in the Yorkshire Dales. The Island’s very own Wight Mermaids Gin will be there, as well as Fever Tree tonic. Live music from The Alberts and a six-piece youth Jazz band.

Isle of Wight Day is a chance for the whole community to celebrate what makes the Isle of Wight great, showcasing Island talent, businesses, schools, clubs and associations.

Sweetcorn Fayre

Isle of Wight Literary Festival
Date: 11th to 14th October Youth Zone: 19th to 21st October Venue: Northwood House
Now in its seventh year, the Literary Festival is a non-profit making charitable trust. For ages 4 to 18, the expanded Youth Zone will feature authors, performances, storytelling, workshops, inventions, forest school, competitions and much more.

Classic Buses, Beer and Walks Weekend
Date: Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October Venue: Islandwide
This year, the Beer and Buses weekend will be playing host to around 100 classic buses and coaches. There will be 19 different routes to follow venturing west of The Yar and going through Chillerton. Some 100 pubs and other licensed venues are taking part, with a huge variety of beers brewed on the Island and around the world.

Ralph McTell Concert, supported by Smith & Brewer

Ralph McTell is celebrating more than 50 years on the road. He’s an English singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar player who has been an influential figure on the UK folk music scene since the 1960s. Ralph made his debut in 1968 with the album ‘Eight Frames a Second’ and in 1974 ‘Streets of London’ received an Ivor Novello Award.
