NIGHT SKIES
INSPIRE AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHIC ART
Swan Range
Chad Powell’s awe-inspiring photography has been widely acclaimed for presenting our beautiful Island in a totally different light – or dark to be exact.
Chad captured his first photograph of the Milky Way from Ventnor in 2013. Since then, his stunning images of the night sky sparkling high above Island landscapes have featured in numerous national magazines and publications.
Some scenes will be recognisable to locals, but Chad’s artistic slant gives them universal appeal, and you can now enjoy his vivid high quality night skies or daytime landscapes mounted on stylish 10mm diamond-polished acrylic glass.
Lighting Range
Chad explains, “My photographs have been printed on many different things, and I can honestly say there is nothing like seeing them presented on acrylic glass. People often assume they are backlit, because the acrylic is crystal clear and gives depth, to make the images really pop.”
As well as prints, the wide range of unique gift ideas includes calendars, glass coasters, luxury cushions, all- over printed t-shirts and beautiful chiffon scarves.
You can see the impact of Chad’s spectacular acrylic wall art on page 107, in this edition’s Through the Keyhole home. Although available online, it’s best viewed at his gallery, which is open seven days a week. Call in advance to ensure Chad will be there if you wish to discuss his otherworldly photographs in person.
