Before we know it Christmas will be steaming towards us in all its festive — but slightly manic — glory. Don’t be caught out at the last minute without a turkey, start getting your Christmas food orders in soon, so you can spend the final weeks before the big day with your feet up.
WW Woodford and Son, of Bembridge, will again be offering its popular Christmas hampers. Choose from turkey, beef, lamb or pork hampers made up for two or four people. All turkeys are local, free-range and slowly grown. Hampers can also be made gluten-free upon request.
A typical hamper includes English free range, boned and rolled turkey breast, home cured gammon joint, traditional pork sausage meat, home cured back bacon, pigs in blankets, sage and onion stuffing mix, Yorkshire pudding mix and a jar of cranberry sauce. Hamper contents differ depending on which meat you select, as well as hamper size.
The family butchers has built up a reputation for providing quality meats, alongside great customer service, for more than 110 years.
Keep an eye on Woodford and Son’s Facebook page for more details, including prices and Christmas order dates. Alternatively, call 01983 872717, or pop in to the shop, at 26 High Street, Bembridge.
