ISLAND ALES WIGHT KNIGHT This beer is strong, refreshing and full of body. It may be yellow in colour, but not in heart — it

represents all that is good in a traditional strong English ale.

Island Ales endeavours to provide not only consistent World Beer

Award-winning beer but a service for all customers, be it one bottle or one pallet, everyone is important. This year, Island Ales has been recognised by the CLA and the Agricultural Society as a

Rural Business worth merit at the County Show.

RIND-RIPENED GOATS CHEESE

FROM THE GREEN BARN These light and creamy, soft goats’ cheeses are made daily using fresh milk from free-grazing dairy goats. Available in a range of flavours, all soft cheeses are perfect for cooking, with cheese and biscuits...or simply straight out the pot. While still deliciously light, the rind-ripened cheese is a little more mature, with a stronger, saltier flavour. Also very versatile, it makes for a wonderful addition to any cheeseboard.

PICKLED WATERMELON This unique product by Borneo Pantry is a great addition to a cheeseboard, on a salad or alongside some pâté. It is also a fantastic garnish in a Gin and Tonic. Just add a slice or two to your favourite Gin and Tonic and a couple of drops of the pickling syrup, give it a gentle agitation and away you go. Last year it was awarded a Gold Star from the Guild of Fine Food in their Great Taste Awards.

IW ESPRESSO –

CANTINA BREAD Popular Ventnor café

restaurant, Cantina, has its

own bakery, where sweet and savoury breads and pastries

are baked daily. It’s hard to pick a favourite from the delicious selection of crusty white,

focaccia, seedy, rye, wholemeal sunflower rye and more, but we’re going to have to choose

the mouth-watering sourdough. Nothing beats a generous

portion of this dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar, or doorstop sandwiches with chunks of cheese.

ESPRESSO 73 The IOW Espresso Co

produces a range of high quality espresso blends to suit different tastes. We love this medium roast, modern espresso with a nutty base, combined with chocolate and fruit notes from Guatemala.

Hand-roasted coffee brand, Island Roasted, is produced on the banks of the River Medina in 12kg Diedrich and 20kg Vittoria drum roasters. Unlike many larger coffee companies, Island Roasted products are given time to develop their flavours naturally.
