BTEC PERFORMING ARTS Overview
This course focuses on the particular performing arts interests of the students in the class. Broadly these will be Drama, Dance and Musical Theatre. The course is tailored to the interests of the students enabling them to focus on the art forms they choose, developing them as both a performer and a practitioner.

Unit 1 – Investigating Practitioners’ Work (externally assessed) Unit 2 – Developing skills and Techniques for a live performance

Unit 3 – Group performance workshop (externally assessed) Unit 4 – Performing Arts in the Community
