Geography aims to encourage learners to develop a range of essential skills for higher education and the world of work through content that is relevant to any citizen of the planet in the 21st Century. Through exciting topics students will understand the nature of physical and human geography whilst unpicking the debates surrounding contemporary challenges facing the world today.

Course outline 22% - Physical Geography (Coastal landscapes and the Carbon and Water cycles).
22% - Human Geography (Changing Spaces, Making Places and Migration and Human Rights).
36% - Geographical Debates (Hazardous Earth and Exploring Oceans).
20% - Independent Investigation (coursework carried out independently on a topic from the specification).
