Developer strikes major land deal
A 22-acre development site on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre has been sold to Barratt Homes by the city council. The developer has planning
approval to build 778 new homes on the site located off Bristol Street (A38)/St Luke’s on the site of the former Matthew Boulton College. A planning committee approved

George Koch Sons Europe Ltd has relocated to newly refurbished office space in Lichfield city centre. The company, which is involved
in the design and supply of surface treatment and paint finishing systems for the automotive and industrial markets, has taken 4,541 sq ft of grade A space on the first floor of City House in Lichfield. City House is part of Lichfield’s
City Wharf, located adjacent to the city’s railway station. The building was refurbished last year and relaunched in November 2017.
The Koch deal was agreed by
joint agents, Cushman & Wakefield and Kingston CPC on behalf of landlord, EH Smith. Andrew Buckman of Kingston

Homes England is a Government department which is aimed at bringing forward the delivery of new homes, particular affordable housing.
