Leadership experts to back awards night

Birmingham-based leadership development organisation Common Purpose is sponsoring the Future Faces annual dinner and awards for the second year in a row. They are also offering the overall

winner of this year’s Future Face of Greater Birmingham award a place on their programme, the ‘streetwise mba’, worth over £5,000. The prize is designed for leaders

who want to be able to lead diverse teams, serve diverse customers and work with diverse stakeholders. The programme has found

international success, being rolled out to Hong Kong, New York and Johannesburg, with 92 per cent of participants reporting that they were better able to build relationships with people different to them and also better able to confront their own biases in decision-making.

‘We believe it’s vital that we invest in emerging leaders, as a city and a society’

Common Purpose is a not-for-profit

organisation that runs leadership development programmes across the UK. It is the first business to sponsor Future Faces’

2018 dinner and awards, taking place at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on 31 August. Louise Teboul, Midlands operations director of

Common Purpose UK, said: “In this ever- changing world, at Common Purpose we believe it’s vital that we invest in emerging leaders, as a city and a society. “So we’re delighted to be supporting Future

Faces and the next generation of the leaders in the region, with a place on our course the ‘streetwise mba’ for the overall Future Face of Greater Birmingham.”
