New appointments to Chamber committee


Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce – which enjoyed a 21 per cent membership increase over the past year - has welcomed six new members to its executive committee. The appointment of the new committee members was confirmed at the Chamber’s annual general meeting, which took place at the New Hall Hotel & Spa. Joining the committee are:


• Chirag Mistry, Santander • Dennis Kennedy, Sutton Coldfield Community Games


• Mark Tonks, Orange and Blue Action • Jackie Hendley, Smith Cooper • Phil Arkinstall, Ark Media • Cllr Alex Yip, Councillor for Sutton New Hall Ward Andy Moore (Bracebridge Corporate Finance),


Charlie Sangha (Santander), James Haywood (Sutton Coldfield Rugby Club) and Kimberley


Kong (N Legal) are all stepping down from the committee. Julia Gray (pictured), head of the Sutton


Coldfield Chamber, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new committee members who come from an exciting and diverse range of businesses. “I look forward to working closely


with them as we strive to build on the success of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber. “We must also pay tribute to the executive committee members who are stepping down. They have all made valuable contributions to the Chamber


since its establishment just over two years ago.” Chamber chief executive Paul Faulkner said:


“The Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce is a pivotal part of our commitment to supporting local businesses across the whole Greater Birmingham region.”
