Karting action on the Daytona Track in 2016 (Tim Morris).
t’s time to put on your race suits and helmets and take to the track to vie for the Brooklands (BTM) Karting Trophy. It is one of only two BTM trophies that are on display in the Members’ Bar all year round and you could have your name in- scribed on the base... but only if you win our 2017 Challenge!

The event takes place at Daytona Motorsport, Sandown Park, Esher from 2.00pm to 6.00pm on Sunday 4th June. The Juniors (aged eight to 15 years) will take to the track first for a 25-minute Individual Sprint Challenge to find out who is the quickest around the track. This will be followed by a 90-minute Team Endurance Challenge for the adults. We are looking for 15 teams of three

adults, so get together with your friends and enjoy some exciting track action with the BTM. You don’t have to be a member to take part so work colleagues and friends are welcome. Race suits and helmets are provided by Daytona Motorsport but you can use your own if you wish.
The Daytona track is in the open and the event will take place whatever the weather. We have not had a dry one yet so it’s overdue!
The cost is £65 for adults and £35 for juniors. Individual adults can take part but will be put into teams for the challenge. Book on-line from the BTM website or ring 01932 857381 extension 226.
