llan Winn, our Museum Director and Chief Executive Officer has informed the
Trustees of his intention to retire at the end of March 2018 once the Brooklands Re-engineering project has been completed and bedded down. Accordingly the Trustees will shortly commence the process for recruiting a new Director and CEO. The intention is that the decision on a successor will be made before the end of the summer, with the successful candidate joining the

Museum staff at the beginning of January 2018 as Director-Designate, to allow a smooth transition over the following three months.
After over 14 years as Director and CEO, Allan will be leaving a very successful Museum and a massively different one from that he inherited and, for this, Trustees, staff, volunteers and other stakeholders will always be immensely grateful. I know we will all want to show Allan our appreciation at a later date.
