According to Lori A. Russo of Stanton Communications, spokesperson for Live! Casino & Hotel, many planners are drawn to casino properties and destinations because they like that these venues offer everything they’ll need for their meeting or event - all in one place.
“Generally speaking, casino resort properties offer a great mix of gaming, entertainment and dining options in addi- tion to deluxe overnight accommodations, meeting space and food and beverage, which makes life much easier for meeting and event planners in terms of logistics,” notes Russo.
“What we offer at Live! Casino & Hotel, which is one of the largest commercial casinos in the country, is a bit different, she continues. “Our complex, which includes the Live! Currently, the Live! Lofts boutique hotel is undergoing a $3 million renovation that will transform it into a chic, first- class boutique hotel, says Russo.
The hotel offers approximately 3,400-square feet of meeting and banquet space, as well, which is completely customiz- able.
“Live! Lofts is part of the Live! Casino & Hotel complex, so the services and amenities we offer are virtually endless,” states Russo. “At Lofts, we have 250 rooms including 100 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, 24-hour shuttle service, not only to Baltimore Washington International Airport, but to the rest of the Live! Casino & Hotel property, which includes dining, entertainment and gaming, plus shopping at nearby Arundel Mills.”
For meal functions, Live! Lofts features the Loft Grill, which is open for breakfast and dinner, and The Lounge, which offers custom cocktails, beer, and wine. The Live! Casino, which is less than one mile away via the free shuttle, features nine restaurants on-site, including: The Prime Rib; 8 at Luk Fu, featuring some of the freshest and most creative sushi in the area; and ¡En Vivo!, which offers traditional and unique takes on Latin American street food.
The property’s catering department features a team of culi- nary and service professionals that can customize experi- ences for meetings and events in a variety of settings, such as within the Center Stage entertainment venue.
