“With a 30,000-square foot Event Center, seven food and beverage outlets, a riverside beer garden, a 20-table poker room and free parking, SugarHouse Casino has a variety of amenities to please everyone attending a meeting or event,” notes Jeff Shurilla of HORNERCOM, spokesperson for the property.
The Fishtown Hops beer garden is the newest attraction to be added at SugarHouse, having opened in late June. The beer garden features an array of rustic, shabby-chic furnishings and a blending of natural and industri- al elements. Guests can dine at tradi- tional beer garden tables or lounge in Adirondack chairs by portable fire pits, all while enjoying views of the Delaware River, live music, backyard- style games and a rotating list of the city’s most popular food trucks. Seating accommodates approximately 150 guests with no reservations required.
The Event Center plays host to live concerts and comedic performances each month like The Mavericks, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” stars Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, and “America’s Got Talent” Season 10 winner, comedi- an Paul Zerdin. SugarHouse is a leader in bringing outstanding entertainment acts to the city, asserts Shurilla.

When it comes to meetings, SugarHouse delivers once again with a variety of rooms and spaces for groups of all sizes. “With floor-to-ceiling win- dows and panoramic views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, the casino’s 30,000-square foot Event Center makes for the ideal setting for group func- tions. The spacious ballroom is columnless, allowing it to hold large celebrations or be configured for small, intimate gatherings,” Shurilla adds.
The Event Center also features a pri- vate board room for smaller meetings and private lounge areas are another option for seminars, classroom-like ses- sions and smaller groups. SugarHouse is home to a variety of event spaces, and each event can be customized to the group’s needs and preferences. It also offers scenic views and is equipped with an outdoor balcony and pre-function space.
