dining options available at every price point.
Turning Stone is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar investment to further enhance its already impressive guest experience. The expansive gam- ing floor has been completely remod- eled, and the resort is more than halfway through a floor-by-floor remodel of its Tower hotel (which includes an entire floor of hypoaller- genic rooms). The property recently also opened a new Food Hall that fea- tures six new counter service restau- rants, and recently completed a redesign of its Shenendoah Course, one of three 18-hole courses available.
According to Melissa Olsen, director of sales for Turning Stone Resort Casino, “In addition to more than 125,000- square feet of flexible meeting space, hosting your event at Turning Stone also offers a wide variety of entertain- ment options and amenities right here on property, which allows for a truly unique, customized event. Many of our groups actually will give their attendees treatments at one of our two full-service spas or a round of golf at one of our five golf courses.”
Turning Stone has the flexibility to accommodate meetings and events for groups ranging from as few as 15 to as many as 2,000 people. Its function spaces include a 33,000-square foot Event Center, a 22,400-square foot conference center, and its Tower Meeting Rooms, which recently were renovated and range from 400- to 900- square feet, each featuring state-of-the- art audio-visual capabilities and ease of accessibility to and from the resort’s covered parking garage.
“We also know that meeting planners are looking for creative alternatives to more traditional meeting spaces,”

says Olsen. “So, we also offer event planners the use of our Exit 33 enter- tainment complex for post-meeting cocktail parties and receptions, which features several themed nightlife ven- ues, including: The Gig, a rock ‘n roll haven; Tin Rooster, a country western bar and barbecue restaurant; and Turquoise Tiger, a 1940s film noir cocktail lounge. To complement these unique meeting spaces, we also have special themed banquet menus that tie into the 1940s, rock and western themes.”
Olsen further explains that the Turning Stone team remains on hand to assist with any and every request - from culinary and catering to audio-visual, to a wide range of post-event activities.
In addition to the resort’s adaptable meeting space, it also offers award- winning accommodations, nightlife, several venues with live weekend entertainment, two spas, five golf cours- es, two world-class entertainment ven- ues that play host to world renowned musicians, comedians, dancers and more, a new Las Vegas-style gaming floor, plus over 20 restaurants and
“However diverse a group’s needs, we have the amenities before, during and after the event to create an unforget- table experience for attendees,” asserts Olsen.
Turning Stone is able to offer a variety of group dining options that feature customizable banquet menus. “Our Forbes Four Star-rated Wildflowers restaurant has a small private dining area, but we also offer special banquet menus from some of our restaurants,” says Olsen. “For example, we have a sample group menu for our themed Exit 33 restaurants. We also have a variety of outdoor dining options with indoor spaces, just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.”
She adds that the amenities and plenti- ful entertainment options are very attractive to groups because there’s truly something for everyone and every budget at Turning Stone. “Many of our groups tie-in concerts or other on-prop- erty entertainment into their programs, or, if they have a night on their own, many attendees take advantage of the entertainment already scheduled on property.”
