Pete points out: “Being off the beaten track on a business park means that if someone walks through our doors, then they are interested and have made the effort to come and see us, so the very least we can do is make them comfortable and give them our full attention.”
Complete Spas’ best-selling spas this year are special editions from Artesian Spas, the E series 435 from Marquis Spas and the new ZEN range from Elite Spas. “We have seen an increase in swim spa sales in the first quarter
of 2017,” comments Rachel. “There have also been more people enjoying the finance options available meaning that they can own a spa from as little as £15 per week.”
SHOW SCENE
For the last five years the Complete Spas team have been prominent on the show scene in the Midlands, attending 16 shows and events each year. Says Pete: “Kevin and Issy from Elite spas opened our eyes to the power of the show, helping us at the Malvern shows. Since then, as well as the large shows at the Malvern showground, we take our own little exhibition wagon to lots of local one day shows including

our own village flower show.” Going forward, Pete and Rachel envisage year on year sales growth of 15 per cent, meaning that they will inevitably need to expand their team to ensure that delivery times are kept within the customers’ expectations.
STREAMLINE APPROACH
“Streamlining how the business is run is paramount, cutting down on return visits by ensuring many spares are kept on the engineers vehicles,” says Rachel.
“Currently we have two full teams delivering spas with the option of a third coming soon and also a dedicated spa service guy that keeps the customers spas looking like new.” Pete runs a weekly one hour in-house training session for the engineers and office staff - selecting a subject and breaking it down. This year also sees Complete Spas opening seven days a week - something they haven’t done for a number of years. Pete concludes: “We truly love this industry and we still get a buzz when a customer says that they will purchase a spa from us. We know that it’s a decision that they won’t regret.
