MP Promises A Protected Future
The Tintometer, a global exporter of water analysis products, was given the opportunity to test a local MP at a recent factory tour. John Glen, the Conservative MP for Salisbury and South Wiltshire, made the important visit to one of the area’s largest employers in March, and took the chance to assure staff at The Tintometer Ltd that their future international trade is protected. Tintometer, based from Lovibond House in Amesbury, also used the occasion to quiz Mr Glen on the proposed expansion of the A303 as well as the infl uence Brexit will have on their exports of colour measurements and water analysis products. After a meet and greet, as well as a lesson in the businesses brand, Mr Glen admitted: “I recognise the Board’s need to ensure that access to Tintometers biggest markets in Europe are retained with as little uncertainty as possible.
“I was impressed with the focus and vision of the leadership and the fact that a very large number of staff have worked in the business for over 25 years; this told me that the company must be a great place to work.”
