With hundreds of UK deliveries and installations under their belt over the last 20 years, there aren’t many situations that the Sundance Pools team have not come across.
The increasing interest in one-piece pools in the UK market has driven the company to launch Sunquest Pools as a subsidiary company, dealing purely with the UK pool trade and focusing on their UK-manufactured range.
“Consumer demand for one-piece pools is very strong. If the shape and size is right they usually sell themselves,” says Ed. “Identical pool models can be seen by the customer beforehand, and both completed projects and pool shells at our storage facility near Milton Keynes. The customer can therefore see exactly what they’re getting before committing.”
He adds: “From a personal perspective, with currency
fl uctuations and increased European transport costs we have seen the UK manufacturing part of our business become far more
competitive. With UK manufacture we also have the advantage of more fl exibility on specifi cation, and signifi cantly reduced lead times.”
