GOLD RUSH


Tanby Pools achieved a top Gold standard award in the £75,000 to £125,000 category at this year’s SPATA Awards, with this breath- taking outdoor residential pool.


The brief for this project was to create a classical pool with a roman end. The client had previously owned a property with a liner pool and understood the limitations of features, water temperature and fi nishes available. The award-winning Tanby Pools team designed the shotcrete fully mosaic-tiled pool with stainless steel fi ttings, colour change lights and separate step lights along with a Poollock slatted cover.

“An automatic slatted cover was the best choice for this roman end pool design,” comments Delyse Borley, Director of Tanby Pools. “The choice of tiles and surround enlarge the look of the pool, which overlooks the huge country house grounds. The pool design echoes the shape of a classical double roman ended pond.”


LUXURIOUS DESIGN


Delyse adds: “The charcoal grey glass mosaic walls with the ceramic black fl oor and step marker tiles set off with the granite copings give the pool an intense depth and mirror-like surface, therefore enhancing the luxurious design and aspect.”
