Keita became the World’s heavyweight Taekwondo Champion in 2007 and won Sub Saharan Africa’s first ever Taekwondo title ever, he is as recognized around Mali as any other athlete internationally or otherwise. He would go on to compete in the Taekwondo event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games; he was unsuccessful in his
