ERA's annual breakfast programat the 2013 Electronic Distribution Show (EDS) will focus on reshoring. The event will be cohosted with the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA) onWednesday, 8May, at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, which is the EDS show site in Las Vegas.
Breakfast service will begin at 6:45am,
followed by a presentation on reshoring by an executive of contractmanufacturer, Sanmina. The programwill profile the ideal rep firmand distributor to be working with a reshoring contractmanufacturer, as well as whatmanufacturers can expect when outsourcing to a reshoring contract manufacturer.

Enclosures offer more choice
New Age Enclosures has released two new products, both said to offer compact dimensions with customization options. First up is the highly contoured Expandable
Electronic (EE) Housing, identified as part number P191508. Itmeasures 1.9in in length, 1.5in in width, with three options for height of: 0.820, 0.945 and 1.070in. The EE Housing is a compact version of
New Age’s P301910 electronic housing. The new smaller size, with expandable height options, will suit a number of programs, while the contoured shape is designed to be comfortable for handheld applications. Internally it accommodates a 1.15 wide by
1.65in long PCB. The enclosures are now in stock in white and black RoHS compliant ABS plastic. For customization they can be ordered in customcolors, with CNC modifications and pad print decorating. Other new release products fromNew Age
Enclosures include a sleek new enclosure called the Network Cube. Identified as part number S202010, the designmeasures 2.0in in length, 2.0in in width and 1.0in in height.
