Readers of Electronics Sourcing North America will notice something different about this issue: it’s bigger than normal. Sixty four pages, plus covers to be exact. The reason is simple, this issue is home to Gina Roos’ 2013 Top 50 Distribution Report, plus two event previews for EDS and ES LIVE.
Starting with her summary on page four, Gina applies her investigative skills
to compiling the 16page 2013 Top 50 Distribution Report. Page 22 starts a six page introduction which charts the North American distribution landscape, including comments fromCEOs at leading distribution businesses.
Moving to the Survey Results which starts on page 28, the Report starts
piling on the numbers, with statistics covering key component and industrial sectors. This is followed by a quick reference guide on page 34, highlighting sales by a variety ofmetrics ranging fromspecific component groups such as interconnect, to sales per employee.
The Report concludes with a Distributor Ranking chart starting on page 35,
which provides readers with a quick comparison facility. Having introduced the distribution sector’s key players, ESNA then
