THE AUTHOR Wai-Leung Ambrose Lo BSc MSc MCSP AACP
graduated as a physiotherapist in Huddersfield in 2006 and carried on studying at University of Southampton
for a Masters Degree on rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain. Ambrose is currently undertaking a PhD at Southampton in respiratory medicine, looking at breathing pattern variability in patients with severe asthma. The majority of his clinical caseload are musculoskeletal and trauma injuries, and his longstanding interest in musculoskeletal and respiratory physiotherapy now relate to the lack of research evidence to support practice.
