THE AUTHOR

David Fevre MSc MCSP SRP is currently the senior chartered physiotherapist for Blackburn Rovers FC, a post he has held since July 1999. He was previously chartered physiotherapist for Wales (2002–05), Manchester United FC (1994–99), Great Britain Rugby League (1990–94), Wigan Rugby League (1989–1994) and Leigh Rugby League (1984–89). He worked in the NHS and within a number of sports injury clinics based within the private hospital sector before taking these full-time posts in elite sport. He lectures extensively, both in the UK and internationally, on subjects related to sports injury rehabilitation, and he is the author of the book Collision Sports Injury and Repair.
