team. Lindsay got her degree from Western Michigan Uni- versity. Jaime will tell you that in

2008 she had no choice but to attend Miami University. Little did she know she would get to represent Team USA in Prague, Czech Republic, and Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with the junior team, and earn two national championships with the collegiate team. A few more years of blood, sweat and tears, and in 2012 we had another Miami graduate, completing four great years of skating. During the 2012–13 sea-

son, Brittan spent her fresh- man year skating for Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan. For her sophomore year, she fulfilled a dream of going to Miami Universi- ty just like her two sisters. In 2014 and 2015, performances to “A Moment in Time” and “Be Italian” earned the Miami University collegiate team its 10th and 11th consecutive titles. Brittan went on to finish her senior year

at Miami University on the senior team. Tey skated great all year and placed second at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships

Miami’s Brittan competed at 2016 Spring Cup in Milan, Italy.

The Mariage family (l-r) Leslie, Jaime, Brittan, Dirk, Alissa and Lindsay supported Team USA at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, where Brittan competed for the last time for her school.

in Kalamazoo, earning the right to represent Team USA at the 2016 ISU World Synchro- nized Skating Championships. We surprised Brittan with the news that the Mariage family would be in Budapest together to watch her take the ice with her team. We were excited to be there as they placed ninth in the world. Since graduating, Lindsay, Alissa and Jai- me continue to coach both private lessons and

synchronized skating. Here we are, entering the 2016–17 skating season, and all four girls will compete in the adult divisions of synchronized skating: Lindsay with Denver Synchronicity and Alissa, Jaime and Brittan with United Ice from Strongsville, Ohio. We are proud of the young ladies they

have become, and we look forward to another chapter in the Mariage skating story.
