ANGELA WANG

“I love Greek yogurt, carrots and hum- mus, or a juicy Honeycrisp apple. YUM! And I have to admit I love watching dog videos in my downtime or meal breaks. I follow a lot of dog accounts on Instagram and Twitter.”

ANASTASIA CANNUSCIO & COLIN MCMANUS

To make Rippon’s green juice, mix the following in your blender (don’t peel the cucumber or apples). Enjoy!

Kale (3 cups) Apples (3) Carrot (1) Cucumber (1) Juice of 2 lemons

Small piece of minced ginger

(Recipe modified from Nekter Juice Bar, a Rippon staple in Los Angeles.)

“I LOVE TO MAKE MYSELF A GREEN JUICE.MY SECRET INGREDIENTS ARE GINGER AND LEMON. I’M NOT KIDDING, THEY ARE AMAZING. YOU’LL START CRAVING THEM BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.”

CANNUSCIO: “I think planning ahead and making a weekly meal schedule is a huge help. On Sunday before every training week I make a grocery list and plan out what I will be having for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the entire week. That way I can make sure I have enough packed for a busy day and I’ll be able to avoid grabbing something just because I’m starving and need something to eat. I pack my food for the day the night before so that way I’m not rushing around in the morning. Organization and meal prep are key when trying to live a healthier life- style.”

MCMANUS: “Family time really helps me to recharge. They help me to take my focus off of skating for a little while. Most of my family lives in Boston, but my older sister and brother-in-law live in New Jersey. So when I can’t find the time to make it up north, I will drive up and visit them and my wonderful niece, Talia. She always keeps me on my tœs. She is a little ball of energy and I am a tall human jungle gym for her. Though we haven’t learned to say ‘Uncle Colin’ yet, I will take ‘Uncle Jump Jump’ for now.”
