Piercyn Hunt and Ashlyn Olson, coach- es and theatrical skating competitors at the Ice House Skating Academy in Hartland, Michigan, team up to perform a fun-inspired Charlie Chaplin-themed program en route to the Parade of Duet Champions crown.

hof placed second with her Schindler’s List program that imagined the girl in the red coat immigrating after the war. Jenna Haidar of the Dearborn FSC in Michigan finished third. She performed her preliminary light entertainment program to an energetic Tina Turner program, which had the audience clapping along.

House Skating Academy garnered the Parade of Duet Champions title. Tey performed to “Sen- nett Song” in their Charlie Chaplin-themed program. Te routine generated laughs from the audience with the skaters’ animated mannerisms and strong energy. “We just went out there and had fun,”

Evan Mullins from the Stockton FSC took sec- ond place with their performance to the song “Uptown Funk.” Te program, titled “Two Wild and Crazy


Guys,” featured lights on their skating blades, moonwalking and a rotating lift. Halle Greenwald and Cora DeWyre of


the Ice House Skating Academy finished third. Tey performed to “Together Again for the First Time” from the musical Young Frankenstein. Te duo landed Axels in sync, and comedic interac- tions drew laughs from the crowd.
