World’s Largest Wind Power Rotor Core Component Produced 我国研制成功全球最大风电转子核心部件


Dalian Heavy Industry Foundry Co., Dalian, China, has manufactured the world’s largest wind power rotor core component, which greatly improves the integrated ability, and has become the sole supplier for the key component of GE for the 6 megawatt off shore wind power project. Measuring 6.9 meters in diameter and weighing 40 tons, the casting features diffi cult to cast thin walls and meets zero surface defect requirements. Dalian Heavy Industry successfully produced the


component after one round of modeling and a single pour. It has passed a number of strict joint inspections by GE. 


大连重工凭借国际领先的铸造加工工艺,研制出 全球最大风电转子核心部件,大幅提高了产品一体 成型能力,并成为美国通用电器公司6兆瓦海上风 电项目这一关键部件的独家供应商。该产品直径6.9 米,重达40吨,是铸件领域最难加工的薄壁大型旋 转产品,不仅要求无结构缺陷,而且在6.9米直径范 围内,圆心偏移不能超过15微米。


大连重工铸业公司接到此项合同后,经过4个多 月努力,陆续攻克制约大型铸件生产的关键共性技 术,实现了一次造型、一次浇注、一次通过美国通 用电器专家的多项严格联检,达到质量标准,并获 得批量订单。 
