AVIC Auto Purchases a U.S. Component Giant 中航工业汽车收购美零部件巨头


According to China Aviation News, on Sep. 10, AVIC


AUTO purchased Henniges Automotive Holdings Inc. for $572 million. Henniges is a top supplier for the auto- mobile sealing and shock products, and its revenue in 2014 reached $825 million. It has 15 plants and fi ve technol- ogy centers in North America, Europe and Asia, and its major customers include GM, Ford, Volkswagen, BMW, Daimler, Chrysler and BAIC, FAW, etc. It is the fi rst successful overseas acquisition of a high-end auto compo- nents company since AVIC bought and operated Nexteer Automotive Group, a company of GM. 


据《中国航空报》报道,美国东部时间9月10日,中 航工业汽车收购美国瀚德汽车控股有限公司(以下简 称瀚德公司)100%股权项目顺利完成交割,此次收购 金额5.72亿美元。瀚德公司是世界一流的汽车密封和防 震产品供应商,2014年实现销售收入8.25亿美元。据 了解,瀚德公司在北美、欧洲和亚洲拥有15个工厂和5 个技术中心,其关键客户包括通用汽车、福特、大众集 团、宝马、戴姆勒、克莱斯勒等主流整车厂和北汽、一 汽等。此次收购是中航工业汽车继成功收购、运营美国 通用汽车旗下耐世特汽车系统公司之后,又一次成功收


购海外高端汽车零部件企业。 


Brilliance BMW Improves Engine Productivity by 50% 华晨宝马斥资20亿元 发动机产能将增50%


T e brand new engine plant of Brilliance BMW is now


under construction in Tiexi District, Shenyang, China. T e plant ultimately will achieve a total output of 400,000 en- gines per year by 2016. With the fast localization of BMW in China, three new models will be added to the existing three domestic models. To meet the needs of the expansion of the domestic vehicles line, the new engine plant is upgrad- ing its second phase expansion. T e project will need a total investment of 2 billion yuan for an engine output reaching 600,000 units per year—a 50% increase. For BMW, localizing production in China will remove


transportation cost. T e increase of domestic engines will bring convenience for the launch of new vehicles. With Tiexi plant’s expansion, in addition to the current domestic 3 series, 5 series and X1, more BMW models will be put into production. T e BMW 2 series Active Tourer will be the fi rst model to be put into production in China next year, with the BMW X3 and an entry-level model inferior to the 3-series also planned. T ese three new models will be equipped with the domestic three-cylinder and four-cylinder engines. 


华晨宝马全新发动机工厂正在沈阳铁西建设 中,2016年将实现40万台/年发动机的总产能规划。而 随着宝马在华不断加快的本土化步伐,未来国产车型将 由现有的3款增至6款,为了满足扩充国产车型产品线的 需求,新发动机工厂也将进行二期扩建升级。据了解, 该项目总投资达到20.02亿元,扩建后发动机总产能将 达60万台/年,相比规划中的40万产能将增加50%。 对于宝马而言,在华投产发动机将不再有运输成本, 同时发动机国产化的增加,将为新车型的投产带来便 利。伴随铁西工厂的扩建,宝马未来在华将投产更多的 车型,除目前在华国产的3系、5系、X1三款车型外, 另外,宝马2系Active Tourer将于明年率先在华国产, 宝马X3和一款定位低于3系的入门级车型也将陆续实现 国产。而未来这三款新车型,将陆续搭载宝马在华国产 的三缸以及四缸发动机。 


FAW Foundry Research Project Passes Technology Acceptance 一汽铸造专项课题通过验收打破发达国家技术垄断


A research project on high end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment led by FAW Foundry Co., Ltd., Changchun, Jilin, China, has passed its fi nal technol- ogy acceptance. T e research subject was “3,500 tons of precision horizontal real-time control diecasting machine and complete sets of equipment” and involved the joint research of well-known domestic production and research institutions for nearly four years. Finally, the diecasting machine has been produced, and performance in air injec- tion speed and supercharging pressure time have reached the international advanced level among similar products.
