New Year’s Expectations 新年的期望
It’s the turn of the year and a time to reflect as well as
look toward the future. Year 2015 will not go down in the books as a top record
year for world production of castings, yet the global met- alcasting industry hasn’t ceased to demonstrate its strength. Tis trend however, doesn’t apply to all regions, such as Brazil
and Russia where the metalcasting industry is consistently stalled by political and social interests. In large parts of China, Europe, North America, India and Mexico, the industry is running as well as expected, but this is also due to the drive of remaining competitive companies moving towards innovation. “Leichtbau in Guss” (Lightweight Casting) is not only about aluminum and diecasting. Tis involves all casting sec- tors in competition to exist, starting from materials, design, components and to the technology of the future. Te requirements of modern engineering are complex
and know no patience. Tis affects suppliers, casting produc- ers and casting buyers alike and requires a high level of mutual understanding and fairness. It’s safe to say that year 2016 will start out once again with high expectations. Te EUROGUSS 2016, a place where the elites in the field of diecasting meet, will take place in Nuremburg, Germany, in January, followed by the big IFEX in Coimbatore, India, at the end of the month. 岁末年初，又到了回顾过去和展望未来的时刻。 即将过去的2015年，全球铸件产量方面并没有突 出表现，但全球铸造行业也没有停止展示自己的实 力。
然而，并非所有地区都保持这样的发展趋势，例 如，受政治和社会经济的影响，巴西、俄罗斯等国的 铸造行业仍处于停滞状态。在广阔的中国、欧洲、北 美、印度和墨西哥市场，铸造行业正在按预期发展， 持续的竞争力和创新转变也推动了这些地区的发展。 “Leichtbau in Guss”（铸件轻量化）不仅涉及 到铝合金和压铸件，它还使铸造行业的方方面面参与 到竞争中，包括从材料、设计、产品到未来技术。 现代制造业的要求不仅复杂而且快速。这些情况对 供应商、铸件生产商和铸件买家的影响是一致的，因 此，更加需要互相理解和公平性。
