Win Systems acquires Gold Club in shock move

acked by Metric Capital Partners, a London- based private capital firm, Win Systems has completed the purchase of the Slovenian-
headquartered global developer and provider of gaming machines and electronic roulettes with market presence in over 50 countries worldwide. The combination of the two companies will create an emerging leader in the global gaming industry, capable of offering both lottery and casino clients innovative end-to-end solutions including Casino Management systems, VLTs, electronic gaming machines and electronic table games. Following the acquisition the group will have a significant footprint in Europe, South Africa and the Americas.
The acquisition comes after a period of substantial organic growth for Win Systems, with the Company’s innovative casino management system WIGOS now installed in over 260 casinos in 17 countries worldwide, providing connectivity to over 60,000 machines. Following the acquisition, Win Systems will more than double its current headcount to over 300 staff across a number of offices worldwide, with key Gold Club personnel remaining in place to continue servicing customers under the Gold Club brand in selected regulated markets.

AGE 2017 setting records already
isitor registration is open for AGE 2017, a full seven months prior to when the organisers were able to open it for the 2016 Expo and. As with last year, social media is making registration a simplified process with auto- filled fields via many of the most popular social networks. Registrants will be able to see who is attending, and identify the most meaningful and relevant gaming expo contacts who they’ll benefit from meeting at the event. Returning visitors will also find fields pre-populated, requiring just a couple of clicks to complete registration. With 20% more floor space than the 2016 iteration, 90% of the floor space has already been taken by 176 exhibitors. This is exciting news with nine months to go until the show’s start date of the world’s third-largest casino gaming equipment exhibition.
