H2scan’s HY-ALERTA 2600 Explosion Proof Area Hydrogen Monitor provides hydrogen-specifi c leak detection and measurement for hydrogen concentrations as low as 4000 ppm and can be scaled to any concentration up to 5% hydrogen by volume, a range representing 10% to 125% of hydrogen’s lower fl ammability limit. The monitor is designed for either ceiling or wall mount and has an RS422 capability that extends the interface from the Hydrogen Sensor Module to the Control Module to several hundred feet. H2scan’s hydrogen-specifi c sensor technology has no cross sensitivity to other combustible gases, thus eliminating false positive alarms and ensuring safety system reliability.

Landfi ll Gas (LFG) is the product of microbiological decomposition of land- fi lled waste. The bacteria thrive under anaerobic conditions and turn complex organic compounds found in waste matter into primarily Methane and Carbon Dioxide. LFG is approximately 50-55% methane and 40-45% carbon dioxide. The ETG 6900 P, a portable Laser Gas Detector (LGD) based on Tunable Diode Laser Spectrometry (TDLS), provides a solution to many gas detection challenges in landfi ll emission monitoring and process control. This technology offers unique advantages like precise optical, contact- less measurements, excellent target gas selectivity and sub ppm-level detectivity. The TDLS technology is enhanced for gas detection, where a 0.1 nm narrow bandwidth diode laser beam is scanned across an absorption band of the target gas, performing a high-resolution near-infrared absorption measurement. Electronic lock-in technology allows separating the gas absorption information from electro-optical system information, leading to a detection method eliminating the need for a physical reference channel. and offering continuous sensor status monitoring. The ETG 6900 P thus present a clear alternative to current sub-optimal detection solutions and combine precise with high target gas selectivity, calibration- free operation, low-cost-of-ownership and easy use by the customer. The ETG 6900 P analyser is powered by Li-ion battery and can be used without an AC power supply. It can be used for measurement of the concentration of CH4 CO2

Dräger designed the Regard 7000 for a wide range of applications and confi gurations. It processes analog transmitter input signals supporting remote access via HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) in the near future. HART simplifi es installation, confi guration, maintenance, and documentation of the gas detection system. A Modbus RTU output is available for retransmitting gas detection data to higher-level systems. The most demanding alarm logic sequences can easily be programmed, such as delays for process optimisation.


The system architecture of the Regard 7000 prevents the entire system from failing if one component fails (single point of failure). In addition, it is easy to add independent subsystems. False alarms are effectively reduced by optimised signal conditioning fi lters, manual alarm suppression, and the automatic comparison of analog and digital transmissions. Special analogue transmitter signals such as errors or warnings are indicated as text messages, making them easy for anyone to identify. A simple, easy to read menu layout with user-friendly icons simplifi es operation and increases your plant’s safety.
