Business awards set to be the biggest yet
Tickets have gone on sale for this year’s Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) annual dinner and awards. The event is taking place at the International
Convention Centre in Birmingham, and has this year moved to a large capacity hall. This is due to the growing demand for tickets
for the dinner and awards, which last year sold out months before the event actually took place. It is anticipated there will be even greater
interest in this year’s awards, as ABCC is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The event is taking place on 2 December.
Tickets are priced at £80 (plus VAT) per person, while tables of 10 are available for £800 (plus VAT). Platinum tables of 10 are also available, priced at £1,200 (plus VAT). There are also a host of sponsorship opportunities. In addition, all ABCC members who pay their
2017-18 membership in full by 2 December will be able to claim a complimentary ticket.
ABCC president Saqib Bhatti said: “The ABCC
is an institution steeped in history, tradition and heritage. Leading it, as president, is a great privilege, honour and responsibility. “This year we celebrate the journey that has
got us to where we are and we set the standard for the next 30 years.” Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce
chief executive Paul Faulkner said: “Over the past couple of years the ABCC has become even more closely integrated into Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. “Having been part of the Chamber family
since 1987, this was a natural move and our fortunes are now evenly more firmly bound. “We look forward to coming together to
celebrate not just the achievements of the Asian business community but also a significant milestone in this history of this organisation.”
