PADSTOW Te first weekend in December is the perfect time for a break, giving you the chance to enjoy some time out before the Christmas visitors descend and the madness begins. Conveniently, that’s the weekend that sees Padstow hosting the annual Padstow Christmas Festival, which this year takes place from Tursday 1st to Sunday 4th December. Te festival is now in its
ninth year and is Cornwall’s largest food festival, this year expecting to welcome over 50,000 visitors. At the heart of the event, which is run by volunteers, you’ll find a traditional Christmas market with over 100 food, drink and craſts producers from across the country. Tere will also be chef
demonstrations, live music, a firework display on the Friday night, pop-up food stalls and a Santa’s grotto – meaning that it’s not just about buying giſts – it’s about enjoying an entire festive experience and getting in the mood for Christmas.

Head to the Buttermilk Shop for fudge and other locally made confections, and the Padstow Farm Shop in the town and Kingsley Village just a short drive away for all your foodie needs.
