Normally natural water features would be water that is purified via plants and bio filter systems to clean out natural waste and to keep your water crystal clear.
These are sustainable for both plants and fish and, despite what many people may think, are perfectly fine here in Spain. As long as the scenario has been designed correctly and the filter system is adequate then you will have no problems.
Fountains or contemporary water features can be both natural in terms of water treatments or, as many people do, they can be easily treated using pool chemicals so the water is clear, clean and free of pests.
The main thing is water is wonderful and it can be added to many properties as a great alternative design feature, big or small, modern or traditional, contemporary or natural. I have created and installed water features and ponds, both big and small, both here and
in the UK and they are always wonderful and add so much to a space.
