Page 39 BARC Wet Nose Day


On Saturday 7th May from 11am onwards, BARC (Busot Animal Rescue Concern, Registered Charity CV-01-044306-A) is holding a massive family and fun packed fundraising event, called Wet Nose Day, in the Placa de Generalitat Valencia, Busot. All proceeds will go to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of lost and abandoned animals in Busot and the surrounding area. The event is being run with the support of the Ayuntamiento and Alcalde of Busot.


Entry is only 3€ for adults, and kids aged 16 and under are free! In the main arena there will be a Fun Dog Show; a Dog Training Exhibition; a Line Dancing Show, and a Live Jazz Band. Running alongside the event is an exhibition of Busot School Children’s Artwork created especially for Wet Nose Day. The exhibition will take place in the Casa De Culture right next door. There will also be an opportunity to meet some of our dogs looking for their forever home. For children there is a Bouncy Castle; a Crockery Smash/Crazy Kitchen; Face Painting; Sponge Throwing Stocks and Pillars; a Treasure Hunt, Art Exhibition and many other attractions. There is a Market Place with many stalls selling Beauty Products; Hand Made Jewelery; Knitted Dog Coats and Baby Clothes; a Pet Stall; a Professional Pet Portrait Artist; The BARC Shop; The Card Shop; Dog


Grooming, and much, much more. There is a Refreshment Zone, including a Burger and Hot Dog Stall; Light Refreshments, and a Bar!


In the evening at 8pm there is a Free Disco and Karaoke Party with buffet at El Raco de Pipo in Busot. A great day and evening with fun for ALL the family, including the 4 legged members! For more details telephone John on 965 975 470.
