Engineering, environmental and planning consultancy Caulmert is planning to double the number of staff at its Nottingham office, just months after relocating to the city. The employee-owned business
relocated from Derbyshire to the Eastwood Link Business Park and now plans to increase its workforce there to 20 this year. Senior principal planners and an

strong demand for its services in residential, industrial, energy, waste and educational projects. Company founder and Managing Director Mike Caulfield said: “Our Midlands team has played a crucial role in the firm’s growth and we now want to bolster the expertise based at our new office.”

turnover to over £2m during the last financial year, largely thanks to diversification into new sectors. “We’re picking up more and
more work in education, renewables, infrastructure and commercial developments, including some really interesting, challenging projects, both in the UK and overseas. “Now, we’re looking for senior
planners with experience and contacts in this area, as well as an environmental director to oversee our team of environmental scientists.”
