New courses launch this year
Chamber Business Training is introducing two new courses to its development programme this year.
Launching next month will be
the Marketing Development Programme. This four-day course will
demonstrate that excellent marketing is making the maximum return for the minimum expense in terms of time and money. The course is intended for
business leaders, managers and owners with decision-making authority and who are looking to grow their business. Formal marketing qualifications are not a requirement of the course. “The course will help dispel any preconceptions or myths about
marketing and clear the path to more successful company promotion,” said Training Manager Vicki Thompson. In July, the Chamber will launch its Service Excellence Culture
Programme. Whether you provide goods or services, as a business you have to know how to take and address criticism and complaints along with accepting praise. All businesses thrive on customer satisfaction, which often leads to repeat business and good word of mouth. To ensure this works for you, it makes sense for you to strive to find and
make consistent use of excellent customer service strategies. The new three-day programme will provide you with a clear plan for
working towards having an outstanding service culture. It will support delegates in developing a service excellence culture, focusing on business strategy, systems and processes and developing and managing the team. This programme is for directors, managers and business owners of SMEs and for divisional heads in larger organisations. “It’s not enough today, with social media providing an instant and very
public platform for complaint, to simply be good at what you do. You need to have customer service excellence to ensure customers come back time and again and are willing to tell other people about how good you are,” said Vicki.
